Perfect size and weight to chop out buffle grass without winding up with all the dirt too like using a pick.Not as heavy on the arms as a pick and you don't have to stick your nose in the grass to use it. I've tried everything from a pick, trench shovel, spade, garden hoe (worthless), etc on this stuff. This works. You're still going to use some muscle but there'll be considerably less swearing.

I did not find it to be particularly light weight. I do not believe it would be as useful if it were light weight. Works well in my garden and flower beds! For serious gardners it works well!!!

Well made product, but angle of hoe to handle is not ergonomic. Hoe head to handle angle should be more than 90 degrees instead it is approximately 75. This makes the swing awkward.

I wanted your tool with a long handle to save my back And to have some weight to chop through deep roots of bindweed. The blade is a little wider than I anticipated but still very hopeful.

Digging a 150 foot rain removal trench. This works like a charm flattening out the base. I also use it to remove dirt like a shovel. Easy to scoop up and empty the dirt into a container. The best $38 I have ever spent.

Do not buy this hoe! The wood piece of hoe broke after just a week. There is nothing more disappointing than spending money on something that is not well made.

Night and day better quality than the typical hardware store hoe. It will be the last one I will need to buy. Solid, heavy duty and I bet nearly bomb proof. Get one

This home is the Cats Meow. It's not heavy, but built to last a lifetime. My wife and I love it. The wide blade is great also. Don't hesitate to buy one, instead of a traditional hoe.
